Annika Ingrid creates through scent, sculpture, and drawing. Seeking to encapsulate the absurdity of the relationship between the mind and body within the use of an intimate, yet estranged female perspective, Annika explores how compulsive feelings and actions can become ritual. She is based in Chicago and graduated with a BFA from Columbia College Chicago in 2025.

My work is a widespread composition dedicated to the site of tension that is the body, which has led to my  materialization of the melodies that arise from the depths of it all. Structured, industrial implements join natural, organic elements in marriage under compulsion to aid my engagement with the tensive, eternal external bodily absurdities, the transcription of my own experience of dissonance.
